If I hadn’t read Jeremy Brown’s post this morning, I might never have stumbled across Anne Cunningham’s blog. She’s a lovely writer. I especially enjoyed her thoughts on keeping children in order. One of the great benefits of being a parent today is being able to choose your own rules for how to bring up your offspring. That’s the theory, anyway. I don’t think it works in practice. In most cases, the kids are the ones who end up making the rules.

We still have capital punishment in my household.

(No, I didn't mean to say "corporal".)
