It's official: the conservatives are now the radicals. Here's Steyn in today's Spectator. And Krauthammer in today's Washington Post:

Revolutions do not stand still. They either move forward or die.

I hope we don't get too carried away, and I hope nobody starts using that favourite slogan of revolutionaries down the ages: you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.
All the same, it's a good feeling, isn't it?

BTW, do you remember how one of the Gulag's critics once answered the "omelette" question? (I think the story is in Anne Applebaum's book.): "Yes, but where's the omelette?"
