FACES IN THE CROWD

Michael J. Totten compares and contrasts pictures of the rival demonstrators in Lebanon. Quite a gender difference, as you can see. (Will this prompt more dark mutterings about the "jeunesse dorée" from the working man's friend, Seamus Milne?) I'm struck by the response of one of one of Totten's readers:

Women are going to be a catalyst for the coming revolution in the Middle East. The silence of American femnobots who are proccupied with anti-Bush femnobotism is deafening."

A lot less optimism from another reader. Let's hope he's wrong:
