SALUTING CONAN DOYLE

Have you read "Micah Clarke", "Sir Nigel" or "The White Company"? No? Neither have I. It seems Sir Arthur Conan Doyle thought these were the novels that would ensure him a place in the pantheon. He had a much lower opinion of Sherlock Holmes, apparently.
