AWARDS TIME
Michelle Malkin says Claudia Rosett's work on the oil-for-food scam deserves a Pulitzer Prize nomination. Hear, hear (but don't hold your breath.) I think Dave Kopel ought to get some sort of honorable mention for his web site devoted to dismantling Fahrenheit 9/11. The mainstream media's decision to give Moore a pass surely counts as one of the embarrassments of the year. ("Bush and Blair lied, so what's wrong with Moore doing the same" seemed to be the general excuse.) You don't have to agree with all of Kopel's points, but his willingness to respond to criticisms and suggestions makes for fascinating interactive reading. The Moore-is-less site run by the Ethics & Public Policy Center is well worth checking too, if you missed the whole story.
MORE ON THE BIG MAN: A neat summing-up from cartoonist Chris Muir, a sort of anti-Doonesbury (via Moorewatch) The Dec 6th send-up of Kofi Annan is a treat, by the way.
UPDATE: Coincidence or what? Andrew Sullivan, no admirer of Michelle M, has instituted a Malkin Award for over-heated punditry. This should be fun.
