After chortling over the worst reviews since Ed Wood met Bela Lugosi, I'm almost (but not quite - heh) beginning to feel sorry for Oliver Stone. Christopher Hitchens sees one good thing to come out of Hollywood's biggest disaster of the year:
"Stone will have done the world a service if he sends readers back to Mary Renault's marvelous novel The Persian Boy and, indeed, to a re-reading of her work in general."
